Southland/Tutor Perini JV was the low bidder at the New Irvington Tunnel public bid opening. The project includes 3.5 miles of water supply tunnel for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. The bid price is $226,657,700.

Southland has became one of only 6 contractors pre-qualfied for San Francisco's Regional Water Tunnels (Conventional Method). This quaification is specific for the $250 Million New Irvington Project set to bid in March 2010.
Southland was awarded Monroe County Water Authortiy's Raw Water Intake Tunnel. Project includes approximately 6,000 linear feet of 8-ft diameter intake tunnel. The contract price is $34,900,160.00
Work Underway on Bi-County Water Tunnel: A tunnel 200-feet deep and more than 5 miles long is now under construction in Montgomery County.
